Great Photos,amazing to see the line back then. I didnt know they had robotics back then , assuming the articulated welding on the floor pan shot!

I was born in 59!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding set of photos. Thanks for the link. I'd always hoped to find some 59 Assembly Plant pictures.

Here are a few pix of a 4 door 59 I picked up about 10 years ago. Only had 23,000 miles on it when I bought it and still had some original paint on the exhaust manifolds. That paint is all but gone now. It is a great car to drive in, still has original springs and shocks.
