See if their is bus line that goes up there. The cheapest shipping I found out is Greyhound.. I shipped a hood to NY from FL for under 200 dollars.
For ALL you guys shipping parts, check with Grayhound. You will be in shock at the prices and how easy it is to ship !!

The above advice using good ol' US Postal Mail Service is truly the best way to get smaller things here to Canada..
It saves dough too being it avoids broker fees also duty on the less expensive items.. ![]() ~ Pete

Rich, Greyhound is great for sheetmetal and bigger type parts but for little stuff I would ship UPS or USPS. I don't think I ever had trouble shipping to Canada UPS.
I know I have to specify Canada when sending a USPS money order. |

Have the guy locate the closest UPS store (in Michigan) to the border and ship the parts there. He can go and pick them up for a service fee of $5 or so and pay no brokerage charges and get cheaper shipping. This is what I do...

You must live in another Oakville...mine is 55 minutes to the UPS store and the wife gets to do a Target run at the same time
All I get is my parts and a bucket of Buffalo's finest chicken wings BTW, UPS brokerage charges are $40 per package which more than covers my gas And some people might not declare their purchases and avoid the 13% taxes...but I wouldn't do that ![]()

I will do a double on the wings and go visit Camaro Specialities (Bob and Craig) while my wife is at the outlets in Buffalo. ![]() |

If you are going to use USPS it is also a good idea to use AIR MAIL. The cost is marginally more (25%) and the item gets here in about a week or so. I've had ground items take up to six weeks.
The brokerage fees at UPS are just plain silly. Something that might cost $50 in fees from UPS is a flat $6 charge from USPS. I'll go back to sleep in my igloo now ![]() |

There are some courier companies that won't either. I ship and receive quite a few parts and believe me it can be a real pain sometimes. It's almost like another country or something. ![]()
