[/ QUOTE ] Bud, I recently booked my regular New York to Myrtle Beach and a few days later the airline emailed me and said it would be $10.00 per checked bag if I pay online a month in advance or $25.00 per checked bag at the gate. peanuts and carry-on bags still free.  extra weight = extra fuel = extra charge
