The car in the article was a three speed manual, but the Ebay one is an automatic (Powerglide?) - uphill grades or headwinds might be an adventure. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] More than likely that Automatic is a "Torque Drive" transmission which is an automatic but has to be shifted from low to high and back to low. Torque Drive trans is a 2 speed but not the typical Powerglide. They were installed in 4 cylinder and alot of 6 cylinder Novas. Tommy ![]() |
