Default Ignition Lock Cylinder

I need help removing my ignition lock cylinder. I had the whole column apart and can't seem to figure out how to remove it so I can paint it and I don't want to just tape it off. I put the whole thing back together so I wouldn't lose all of the parts. The column is for my 70 Nova. It is a floor shift column that I had picked up from a guy on Steve's site yesterday and it's a very nice column. I want to use my original key instead of the ones that are it the column. Any and all help would be appreciated. The Haynes manual isn't of any real help either.
