Hi Bill,
For the most part you are correct, with 1 exception. ZL-1 Camaros used the exact same 1111927 TI distributor as the 69 L-88 and ZL-1 Corvettes. These distributors were equipped with the mechanical tach drive which goes unused on Camaros. These distributors also had 373 part# non functional vacuum cans. Assembly line vacuums had a hole where the nipple would be and later replacements had the bump on the front. Have had a bunch of these distributors over the years. The 263 Ball bearing dist. on ebay was as the add explains an over the counter race only unit.
The only purpose the blank or non functional vacuum unit had on the production dist. was to locate the breaker plate on the 3 different L-88 distributors that used them.
