Default '69 Chevelle 300 Rubber Mat Floor

A friend of mine just bought a mediocre 1969 Chevelle 300 hardtop 307 powerglide, he is going to resell. It has a MINT rubber floor both front and rear. I think he should pull it and stick carpet in to save this unobtainable floor covering for someone doing a 300 SS. Am I correct in that thought ? Does anyone need this and what may be a fair value ? It is green (of course) but color was dyed originally and is showing to black in numerous areas and can be easily dyed to needed color. Let me know as I think I can get him to do this if need be. You can call me if you need more info 814-450-0926 Thank you, George Lyons
