It was actually "Bill Knafel's Anderson Pontiac". If you look at alot of the early Tin Indians some just say "Anderson Pontiac", and later in small letters were the words "Bill Knafels" (With) Anderson Pontiac in large letters. Then later on in the later 60's all the cars were lettered with just "Knafel Pontiac"
My guess is that he must have taken over a dealership by that name.
My Dad is 87 and he seems to remember a Anderson Pontiac in Akron. I have some more Geezers I need to ask yet.
