I would see if your painter could color match and panel paint the hood and deck. If not you would have to blend in the tops of the fenders and quarters with the hood and decklid. There are a few shops around here that I have seen this done and when done properly you would be hard pressed to tell anything was done.

Love that color BTW

I know some people say they are only original once but you need to preserve them to protect them from further deterioration. Even the greatest works of art are touched up and preserved so why not our cars?
