Seems to me that I remember that possibly National Parts Depot
may have had a Muncie handle married to a Hurst shifter body
for sale. See if you can find it online.

It's really hard to understand why GM would put the Hurst
in the Firebird, GTO, Camaro, Vette, but not the Chevelle or Nova.

I've heard the explanations before, but an LS-6 Chevelle
with a Muncie shifter. GM -
