She is not a L-36 marine engine as posted earlier then Chuck. I have seen COPO factory stamped on the pad of two BBC engines and they also had it on the cowl tag right at the bottom.I don't remember the codes that came after the dates but both were installed in 68 full size chev 4 door police interceptors ordered with a 427 425 hp and a m22.Talk about a chase car. I am not sure if they offered the same COPO option to the 69 full size but my guess would be that motor is out of a very rare police car.
