I vaguely recall that car.
 As for the SS/Malibu door panel emblem, I've also seen them the other way. A local guy bought a '70 Malibu from his Grandmother, the original owner. The car had never been apart until he decided to do some upgrades. The car had bench interior and SS panels on both doors. When he pulled it apart, it had a Baltimore build sheet stuck to the inside of the driver's door panel. Matching VIN..........! Remember guys,..... "Always and Never!"
