It makes me sick.........
 That generator wasn't even rusty until we had to change a broken valve spring in a parking lot near Baltimore 2 years ago on the way to Charlotte! It was about 95deg and 95% RH. Just sweating all over everything.  (lucky I packed a pair of nos valve springs, just in case)  Verne
