The seller should GET AN EDUCATION! '198 ( stamped ) intakes aren't that rare anymore.  No way to prove it's real or not.However, the date is right in there......... An original ZL-1 engine ( in pieces ) probably wouldn't cost $25,000.00 So this is designed to do nothing more than get attention. It certainly did that
