Default Re: 70 Chevelle LS6 Just Found Any Info

Neat car Joe. I would be more than happy to try and help as would others who may remember the car. You might also try doing a search by dragstrip name as there are now a lot of sites out there that have vintage photos. I personally do not remember seeing the car on any pages back in the day.

Can you take a picture of the VIN and code stamping on the deck and e-mail it to me along with cowl tag info and rear end stamping? I can do some research from there.

If the car is what you say it is and depending on the plant which is likely a Leeds plant, there is still likely a build sheet in the car. I can also help you locate that info.

You might also want to contact one of our sponsors, www.nickeychicago.net and speak with Stefano to see if he can help on the Nickey part of it.

Possibly a great find!
Rick
