The 90 deg blue line uses one of those little gold senders on the back. Note the two screw holes for it to mount.
 The 270deg green line has a back like this one. I don't see a way of mounting that type sender. But I do believe this tach needs a sender, either the type you posted or perhaps one like the 970 models?   Verne
