speedo making noise??

I have a few survivor cars that have sat a long time and was just wandering a few have squeaky speedo cables or dash speedo itself and its just plain annoying when u are cruzin...I think i remember a tool that used to grease the cable all the way up to the speedo head itself, i don,t know if it was air powered or hand pump but u installed it at the lower portion of the cable at the trans and it pumped grease up the cable anyone have any ideas???thanks
