Similar situation but without the tags, back in my boneyard days I had boxes with titles from literally thousands of Canadian cars scrapped over about a 30 year period...1950-1980?.
Here in Ontario Canada where it's a simple thing to obtain a new title for anything plus the availability of those magical GM docs and today's repop tags, they'd be a very dangerous thing today!.
Thankfully I used them for the only thing they should have been used for...lighting the woodstove in the shop!.
