What's the assembly date of this Vehicle?
The UH Radiator was used on the 69 302 Z/28's as well as the 350/250HP L-65 for Camaros w/Manual trans. YH 15" rally wheels were used on the later Camaros, issued after mid February 1969 to compensate for the 4 wheel disc brake option, then also used on the 1970-74 Monte Carlos. FW 15" rally wheels were issued on 1970-74 Monte Carlos. Look for an entire wheel assembled date code on both sides of the valve stem. It should resemble 5 on the left of Valve stem, then 10 on the right of it,for May 10th. K=Kelsey-Hayes manufacturer. 1=Romulus Mich. assembly Plant. 9=1969-last digit of year assembled. #480 is correct for a 1969 Z/28..but NOT if it's one of the VERY late assembled Z's I am lead to believe. |
