Tony,
Tom only paints my cars, I do all the detail work. I use the 3M 08804 spray undercoating used with a special gun. On Chevelles, I use it on trans tunnels, wheel houses, above heater boxes (Leeds Chevelles only) and the rear out trunk pan and extensions. While it is still wet you hit it with an air nozzle to give it the factory applied texture. Works better than anything I have ever tried.
