[/ QUOTE ] The more people that respond to this thread, the more amazed I become. ![]() Well, to be more specific, I am starting to believe that there may be some kind of "special" relationship between the rectangular port intake & the oval port heads. This phenomenon may not be the same with other set-ups. It just seems to smack in the face of: Who would've thought that would happen! When I think of all the books and magazine articles I've read over the years about engine building & especially port matching, etc. I have to laugh. Kind of makes you really wonder about what is true, and what is nice to have. ![]() I sure wish we had some of the Chevy Engineering Staff from "back in the day" to bounce this off of. Oh well...... ![]() Steve
