If the second number on the metering block is 6238-1,
then I would assume the carb was a LIST 6238. Also check the front right ear on the baseplate. The carb LIST number should also be stamped there on a service dated carb. I don't know the GM part# right off the top of my head. Hope this helps,  Eric
