[ QUOTE ] Tell us about the camaro?? Looks to be a bb car!! [/ QUOTE ] Haha, yeah... bought new in '67 with the RS/SS package and 396/325 engine. Fairly rare, from what I understand. My dad started racing with the 396 but eventually swapped it out for an aluminum 427 (ZL1) with tunnel ram, dual electric fuel pumps, etc. The car received a drag racing suspension, full roll cage, and Dana rear axle. All told, it was putting down mid-10's in the quarter mile, and that was with four-speed. By the late 1970s he was getting out of drag racing and decided to sell the engine (yes, I know), installing a 350 in its place. I'm currently working on swapping a 396 back in and getting the car running again. It still has the original paint (sans decals) with 14,000 miles on the odometer. [/ QUOTE ] Wow...love the picture of the SS396 towing the '67 BB Camaro. ![]()
