Two of my 69's have the DX1 stripe option. I have seen this particular stripe on Sport Coupe's, RS's, a couple of SS's (hockey stick exempt), and even a COPO 9561. There were just over 20,000 69 Camaro's with this stripe option originally. I would guess that over the years when many of the 69's were re-painted, this stripe was not put back on. Back in the day, alot of people weren't too concerned about stripe correctness.
