The black Yenko Camaro was originally a hugger orange 4 speed car sold out of Hult in Wis. Driven hard but retained its original drivetrain. The owner from '73-90 had the driveshaft repaired at one time and the shop owner came out to shake his hand, he had never seen one twisted 180 degrees before!
It was sold in 1990 while the market was still hot at that time. It was restored in Minn. and sold to a TV broadcaster in Calif. who also bought a hugger orange Yenko Camaro in '69. He had sold that car many years ago. It was an automatic car and to my knowledge has not been found at this time. Lots of good stories with these cars.

back in 90-91 I bought a Boss 302 from a guy out of San Jose, Ca., he got the Boss and a bunch of cash for a Yenko he pulled out of a midwest storage facility...the only thing I remember him telling me about the Yenko was the tranny had been chrome plated at some time during it's life.
