Hello Guys, I am brand new to the Supercar registry. First let me say, this is a very awesome site w/ lots of cool people.
I am in the process of building the original engine for my 1969 L-78 Camaro and need a little advice. Can any of you restoration guys give me some tips and recommendations on the best Chevrolet orange paint to use? I have heard that there are several paints on the market that do not match the correct shade of Chevy Orange, as well as, the sheen not being correct (a little too glossy). Also, Is it best to use a spray gun or can I get the same results from applying straight from the spray can? I apologize in advance if these are stupid questions but this is my first time through this process. ![]() Thanks to all. Darrell -------------------- 1969 Camaro RS/SS L-78 |
