If it is that much of a decision for you to track your car down, offer the VIN here and maybe all of us here could help locate it for you in our respective state DMV's! My PaceCar had no lasting evidence in Calif DMV archives available to me back in 1983 but I tried out of state and it came up in Oregon for me as Oregon kept their records from way back; I was lucky and found the original owner to my car verifying my car's origins and original options!!!! Good Luck!
