Default Re: '69 Firebird steel wheel color

My old '69 Firebird was a 1-owner car that was light green with 14"x7" IF code wheels that were BLACK in color and fitted with dog dishes. One other interesting thing about that car was that it was a standard 350 motor with a factory Turbo 400 transmission. That didn't seem right to me, but the car was untouched so I did some research. In '69, if you ordered A/C in your 350 Firebird, they upgraded you to a Turbo 400.

(UPDATED) Well, from how I read the paint chart just posted, my Limelight Green (59) Firebird perhaps should have had Limelight Green wheels? Its certainly possible that somebody rattle canned them for the lady, but I didn't recall any evidence that they were ever green. I put Rally II's on it since I didn't think the dog dishes complemented a 350/auto/factory A/C/dark green deluxe interior car very well.
