Default Re: 1969 Chevrolet : Camaro TRUE X77 Z28

I agree, there is a growing segment of buyers out there that just don't care about numbers. However, I have a tendency to disagree with the statement "The Majority of Todays Buyers DO NOT CARE" I have found just the opposite to be the case. I've been buying, restoring and selling higher dollar muscle cars for the past number of years and the high dollar cars always seam to bring out the better informed and more savvy buyers. These buyers have money for a reason. They know how to make it and they know how to and how not to spend it. I just sold a matching set 1972 Chevelle SS 454 and a 1972 El Camino SS 454 for 85K and that buyer knew exactly what he was looking at and it took a month to complete the deal. JMO

Kind of makes you wonder who's bidding on that Z28 and who would be willing to spend 10-15K more for a clone than the real deal.
