'65s are the best looking of the early Chevy II series, IMO. I had a '64 non-SS hardtop in college in the '80s and it ran like a champ (see pic--1985). Bought it from an elderly neighbor and the car had its original black CA plates. All it needed was a quart of 30-weight every 500 miles or so. Sold it in 1987 for $1200.
