My buddy just picked up a 1970 Chevelle, no motor, trans, or tags. A typical New York City stolen recovery. The car *appears* to be a Super Sport. We're trying to figure out if it truly is. Can any anyone (cough* Rick *cough) shed some light as to where the hidden VIN #s are in a 1970 Chevelle? On the frame rails...?
Also what other clues indicate a Super Sport? Large diameter fuel line? It has a 12 bolt rear, A/C, and white stirpes. Thanks very much guys! -Dan
