VIN Location ?
From the baltimore plant can the VIN be stamped on the block in either the front pad or down by the oil filter?
I ask because a friend rescently purchased a 69 chevelle SS 396 and his vin is located opposite of my car. Both cars 69 chevelle's built at the baltimore plant. Was this possible or did this plant only stamp the numbers in one location only?(Top pad or filter area) Thanks for any help
