Default Re: 1967 festival IPC car E-Bay

Most of the 396 Festival Pace cars are 325hp except for the very few 375hp cars. No 350hp. There were very few BB Festival Pace Cars made so this car has brought up a lot of interest.
But there are some big issues with the car.

I talked to the owner of this car on the phone and we talked quite a bit about it. One of the issues I had was the trunk pan.
If you look in the trunk, besides being patched, it has a 1968/69 trunk pan, shock towers and rear seat support. Totally incorrect for 1967. In this configuration that would mean the shocks are staggered which is also incorrect for 1967. He said he never realized the difference.

He informed me the original engine is also missing. The quarters and wheelhouses had been replaced at sometime and from the looks of it, the trunk pan. Unfortunately with the incorrect parts.

It has standard seats instead of deluxe.

The numbers add up to be a true Pace Car but there is no paperwork with the car.

He's not selling it cheap and it would cost a pretty penny to make it correct again.
