Are you thinking of Melvin Benzaquin in Sloatsburg NY? His shop is called Classic Restorations or something like that...he had a basket case 71 tropical lime Judge vert for sale for $40k at the same time I bought my black 70 4 speed one from him (when it was painted Granada Gold). He writes for some Pontiac mag...the guy is pretty crooked imho, his work was crap and the Judge I bought had to be re-restored even though he had just charged a guy over $100k to do it. After I sold it he found the new owner from Brooklyn, had him bring it in for service and next thing you know I saw a mint 273 carb for sale by Melvin on eBay and the new owner of my car came after me saying the convert had the wrong carb according to the shop working on it! That makes 2 273 carbs he got from 1 car. LOL
