Default 70 camaros

I have 2 questions.First is what type of sidepipe/header setup did motion use on bigblock 70 and up camaros?Did they use the vette headers?
The second question is does anybody know what factory package motion prefered to build it's 1970 and up cars on?Did they use more original Z/28's since the Z would have had 4.10's and could be ordered with manual brakes{which would have worked with a big phase 3 cam},or did they prefer to start with an SS396 which came with big blocks springs, and then maybe have to ditch the power brakes?I was wondering if anybody ever noticed which factory paq
ckage these cars had.
In case anybody is wondering I am doing a resto on my 1973 firebird street legal drag car,and am going to do it in a 70's retro style{I built it with the gangsta street racer look the last time},and I was thinking of maybe citrus green with a blackk Vtop, and an L88 hood, and maybe sidepipes if I could round up a set.It has a 440 inch bigblock chevy with late GM aluminum heads and a dominator, and I figured I could fit it with the retro look, and maybe some super trick wheels and give it a clean nostalgic look. That Motion firebird from 1974 has me thinking of a 70 camaro deck spoiler too.I plan on some M/T valve covers, and other retro engine dress up stuff.I will keep everybody posted of the progress.BTW,my plan is to get the sidepipe headers, then use 3.5" truck pipe and turn downs to make open sidepipes that I can have coated to look like chrome{really loud chrome}.
