The CF TH400 Was used in the 1970 Chevelle with the L-34 402/350HP engine.
70 is the year code.
381 is the date starting in January 1969,so 381 day is around January 16th,1970.
16878 is the Serial number of the Trans. itself.
Look for a VIN# stamped on the Drivers side Horizontal Machined Pad located below the shifter linkage,above the pan gasket,for the exact car it came in.
