Thanks for the response/offer, Dan, and welcome to the board! I tried to post last night, but kept getting dumped off-line when I clicked the "continue" button. The only thing worse than dial-up Internet service is dial-up service here in Alaska.

It looks like we found an "April '69" dated alternator, but thanks for the help!
