Re: Fender Pin Stripes
The fender pin stripes (D96) were included with Style Trim Group (Z21) on non-performance Camaros. However if D90 or DX1 striping was also ordered the D96 stripes would not be included. D96 was optional on non-style trim non-HP Camaros.
For most Camaro SS D96 was not available or included. However Indy Pace Car replicas (Z11) and Special Accent Striping (Z10) included D96. D96 was not available with Special Performance Equipment (Z/28). Some of the press photos Chevy released for 1969 show a Z/28 and an SS with D96. These were not production units. The stripes were painted by Chevy as the fenders had to be in place.
