Default Re: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ! Part Thrice

Casey, this carb looks like either a replacement or a remanufactured unit from one of the major auto parts chains. Since it is silver in color and the sticker is still on the side of the carb, it is identical to the one I have here that I bought at AutoZone about 10 years ago. The linkage is a definite botch job and the number 2 does look bigger than the rest but I don't think it is a restamp. Also there is not a Julian date code after the EE so that also would lead me to believe it is a replacement carb. One thing that I see missing is the idle vent cover on the top in the center of the carb. Is the idle vent there and the cover just missing?

It seems that these vendors are trying to stick it to people more and more everyday. If you gave more than $25 for it you paid way too much. I hope you get your money back, and I say money as I would not buy or get any parts from this guy again...................RatPack...................
