1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom - VMP Supercharged Coyote - Art Morrison Chassis

The custom body work, gorgeous color combination, BOZE Forged wheel selection, custom race inspired interior with modern conveniences, VMP Supercharged Coyote V8 with TKX 5-speed transmission and full Art Morrison Chassis put this classic supercar in a league of its own.” – Marc Schiliro Known as, “Inferno” – this extraordinary 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom is the ultimate classic supercar. As the original VIN number indicates this car was built as an authentic 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback in San Jose, California. This car the product of a multiple six-figure restoration and was purchased by GT Auto Lounge in 2023. The owner Greg Tolson had a vision of taking this car to the elite level and that's exactly what he did. The design and build collaboration was between The Hot Rod Shop and GT Auto Lounge of which are both located in Rancho Cordova, California. In the pursuit of perfection the build was completed in 2025 with an additional cost of 410,737.91 which is documented with invoices. Collectively over 600,000.00 was invested in this car including the original cost of the car. This car is in high show quality condition with excellent attention to detail throughout. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased this car upon completion directly from GT Auto Lounge in September of 2025. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of 5,359.49 in service and detail which is also documented with an invoice. December of 2025 is the first time it's ever been listed. It will be campaigned in preparation for the upcoming Bring-A-Trailer online auction starting on January 2nd, 2026. The electrifying exterior is unique in appearance with extreme attention to detail throughout. During the build process countless hours were invested in fabrication. The factory drip rail moldings were removed and the channel was shaved for a smooth finish. The factory cowl vents were also shaved for a smooth appearance and the operational windshield wipers were left for functionality. It was outfitted with a one-of-a-kind metal cowl inducted hood that incorporates the designs from multiple generations of Mustangs including a Boss 429 style hood scoop. The front and rear hood vents have custom dark gray grilles. The hood is equipped with Ring Brothers billet aluminum hood pins. The custom headlight buckets and front end houses LED lights with white halos. The front was decorated with a custom dark gray grille with a RTR emblem which stands for “Ready to Rock”. The factory rear quarter vents were removed and smoothed for a smooth finish. The front lower factory rear quarter vents were also removed and a newly designed vent was incorporated with dark gray grille. The lower rear quarters were fabricated for the exhaust outlets and trimmed in dark gray to match all the grille trim work. The custom rear trunk lid was fabricated to incorporate a rear spoiler as part of the design. The rear tail panel with LED tail lights and custom gas cap was painted gray to carry the theme. The tucked custom rear bumper and rear valance with molded license plate finishes the lower section of the rear end. Once the body fabrication was completed countless hours were also invested in prepping the body to be straight with excellent panel fitment. The hood, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. The body was finished in Ford Mustang Colorado Red paint which looks amazing. The high quality paint was recently detailed to a mirror like finish by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The body was decorated with a side stripe decal that incorporates designs from multiple generations of Mustangs. Some other exterior custom features include all new tinted glass, brushed window trim, Ring Brothers dual billet aluminum mirrors, Ring Brothers billet aluminum door handles and 5.0 Coyote fender emblems. These emblems also incorporate designs from multiple generations along with the colors of the American Flag. This Mustang has a killer stance on custom BOZE Forged Lateral-G wheels that are 18x9 on the front and 18x12 on the rear. The centers of the wheels were powder coated dark gray and the outer lips were brushed to carry the theme throughout. The wheels are mounted to Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires that are 245-40-18 on the front and 335-30-18 on the rear. The rear end was modified with mini tubs to accommodate the larger rear wheels and tires. The race inspired interior is also unique in appearance with excellent craftsmanship throughout. The interior was designed and professionally completed by Fine Line Trim and Upholstery located in Sacramento, California. During the build process the entire cabin was stripped to a shell. It's equipped with a black 4-point roll bar with X-support for safety and stability. The one piece headliner, center of dash, shift boot, door panels inserts and rear interior space was upholstered in Alcantara. The dash pad, door panels and center console was upholstered in black leather. Much of the upholstery was stitched in red to compliment the exterior color. It was outfitted with authentic Ferrari F430 Scuderia optional carbon fiber seats that have Alcantara inserts with red center stripe. The refinished black dash houses Dakota Digital HDX gauges with red lights, Vintage Air Conditioning with factory style controls and functional glove box. Some other interior custom features include a rear view mirror, Ididit tilt steering column with quick release, Sparco L575 Monza 3-spoke steering wheel with suede wrap, Schroth Racing harnesses, black billet door handles, power windows, black billet shifter, Wilwood pedal assembly, gray finished door sill plates and Mercedes-Benz black carpeting. It's equipped with a Pioneer Stereo with Sirrus Radio and Bluetooth, Alpine amplifier, Kicker speakers, tweeters and subwoofer. The custom molded carpeted floor mats also have a red center stripe that continues from the seats. The truck lid pivots on black aluminum hinges. The trunk compartment was boxes and upholstered in Alcantara. It houses the Alpine amplifier and concealed Optima red top battery. It's equipped with a battery cut off knob and trickle charger cord for the NOCO charger that's included. The spectacular engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with all new parts. During the build process countless hours were also invested in fabrication in the engine bay. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were modified to accommodate the engine. Upon completion they were painted Ford Colorado Red. The hood pivots on Eddie Motorsports aluminum hinges. The car is powered by a new Ford Performance Gen 3 Aluminator 5.0L Coyote crate V8 engine. This engine uses forged internals for higher boost potential. It was outfitted with a VMP 2.65 Supercharger which is rated with 800 horsepower. The engine was dressed with custom valve covers that were also painted Ford Colorado Red. Some other parts include a Ford control Pack, Vintage Air accessory drive, J&L OSC oil separator, remote oil filter, Aeromotive fuel pressure gauge, MechMan 240-amp one wire high output alternator and Concept One power steering reservoir. The engine is cooled by a Be-Cool aluminum radiator with SPAL dual electric fans. It was outfitted with a custom radiator support panel that was also painted Ford Colorado Red. The engine breathes through custom Coyote stainless headers and 3” polished stainless steel exhaust system Borla XR-1 mufflers. The engine is coupled to a new Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission. It's equipped with a Quick Time bell housing, billet flywheel and McLeod clutch. The power is transferred a Watts Link 9” Tru-Trac rear end with 3.70 gears. The extremely clean undercarriage is highly detailed throughout with all new parts. The floors were finished in a black textured paint for durability. The body sits on an Art Morrison GT Sport Chassis that was powder coated black. This custom chassis provides a modern stance with improved handling and ride quality. It was outfitted with a Ricks Tanks fuel tank with ZR1 fuel pump assembly. It's equipped with rack and pinion steering, tubular control arms, 4-link rear and Strange coil over shocks. The stopping power comes from a complete Wilwood 4-wheel disc braking system including the master cylinder, proportioning valve, front 6-piston red calipers, 4-piston red rear calipers, drilled and slotted rotors. It's also equipped with an E-STOPP electric emergency brake.
