I don't know that Craftsman ever supplied repair parts for the tools they sold. Seems the tools were made by other manufacturers and branded to Craftsman. Every tool I ever had an issue with was just exchanged for a new one, that was usually different appearing and functioning.
The "AD" ratchet, to me, looks more comfortable to use and if the mechanisms do interchange, may be a worthwhile move.
