You may not notice a difference in the before and after photos but I assure you everything is cleaned and rebuilt internally per my request. I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Luckily the master cylinder wasn't pitted and did not need to be sleeved. Martin from Power Brake Exchange in San Jose performed the rebuild of the booster, master, and both valves. When I went to him with my odd request to leave everything crusty he said, "I've been doing this 36 years I know exactly what you are looking to do". He proceded to take everything apart, put it a bucket and it was ready for me to pickup within a few days. I'm considering cleaning the parts with a simple degreaser.
