Some other movies to track down would be:
Rebel of the Road (drag races filmed at Fremont Raceway- very cool) Born to Run- hard to find but pretty good street-racing action. Stingray- low budget "B" car chase film from '78 or '79. two guys in '64 Stingray chased by drug smugglers- good fun. "Via Knievel"- ok, not really a car-guy film but great campy laughs and some decent jumps Corvette Summer- You could have a real film festival out in your garage!
