In my opinion the difference between Plasti-kote and Duplicolor is fairly minimal. The difference between those two and EN-48 is significant at a minimum. I just do not know what would be correct. Restorations mostly show EN-48 or something similar in hue it appears.
I wonder if anyone has an untouched block from yesteryear and a block finished in EN-48 for comparison that they could post. To me EN-48 is red with a very slight orange hue. The pics of the blocks with EN-48 in this thread at least on my computer, do not accurately indicate the color that you see in person. The pics in this thread to me look a fair amount more orange than it really is. JMO.
