The clutch and flywheel came back. In all of that, I found the source of a vibration. The original flywheel was out a fair amount! Balanced that along with the clutch to the flywheel, and begin to reassemble.
Along the same lines, it is remarkable how far out the original bellhousing was!. The initial measurements to check for being concentric had it off by .015! Got that straightened out........now it should go together like butter.  Man, GM is crude............
