There were two COPO 427 1969 Camaros: COPO 9560 was the ZL1; COPO 9561 was the L72 427.

All ZL1 VINs are known because Chevy provided the information to Super Chevy magazine in 1981 and they printed the list.

There may have been an internal listing for L72 COPOs but to date it has not been located. Camaro production totals suggest 997 L72s were built. Bergy has been tracking known L72 cars. The registry is on the site:
