UH OH.. We have a 1971 LT1 that sat in the car for 20 years, someone had pulled the intake off and apparently some water got into a few of the cylinders and pitted them Real Bad, we were told that 3 of the cylinders will have to be sleeved which by itself is not a problem, The problem is the engine stamps on the front of the block. I am worried that when they mill the top of the sleeves and the top of the block the VIN and engine ID stamp will be milled off.
