Cast Sept 13th '62 in Flint and assembled Sept 14th, but installed in an early '63 passenger car with 250hp & Powerglide trans. Those blocks are the most popular for a Corvette "restoration engine" because people add the second Corvette suffix code and stamp their VIN derivative.
Passenger car engines did not have the car's VIN stamped on 250hp engines in '63 Verne
