Thanks for the feedback and observations. I’m not actually interested in this car, but merely using it as an example. I most definitely will solicit an expert opinion if I find and decide to pursue a specific Corvette. The many issues with this car demonstrate that I’m outta my league and have a lot to learn about Corvettes. If this was a Camaro or Chevelle, I would be quite capable of relying on my own inspection.
Perhaps this car was a poor example. I pointed it out because it was priced similarly to some unrestored examples... now I see why. I’ll be looking for an original paint or older repaint that hopefully won’t have these issues.
