I appreciate the pics. However, I think that is a modified bracket set that originally came on a low horse small block with the 7 inch balancer. It looks almost exactly like the set up on my 68 El Camino, which was originally a 307 car. When I installed the 350, I had to modify the lower bracket (cradle) similar to how yours is modified. That front hole on the cradle used to be a complete circle. It has been cut back to clear an 8 inch balancer.

I think very few L79's had power steering from the factory, and that is why I can't find any pics of the correct set up installed.
